I particularly appreciated the spacious three-bed dorm, which offered good heating for a comfortable environment despite the warm summer nights. The shared kitchen was both clean and functional, making it easy to prepare meals, though it's essential to remember to tidy up per their thorough house rules. Housekeeping was consistent, ensuring that the linens were fresh and the bathrooms private and well-maintained, with good privacy locks. While I missed some vibrancy in social interactions, this contributed to a calm atmosphere that allowed me to focus on work. At €26.93 per night, Controvento provides a solid foundation for those traveling on a budget while still appreciating a touch of charm and cleanliness. If you're looking for a quiet retreat after a day of exploration, this place balances luxury with financial wisdom quite well.
